Climate in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has one of the most stable and pleasant climates in the world. Mean temperatures range from 18 degrees Celsius in January to 25 degrees in August, with very limited daily variation thanks to the Atlantic Ocean.

North-easterly trade winds dominate most of the year and are responsible for the panza de burro, a stratiform cloud layer that often covers the north of the island in the morning while the south stays clear.
